PYT reveals debut single–’Pretty Young Thing’!
PYT or also known as Pretty Young Thing is a talent of Bellhaus Entertainment composed of Dania, Nichole, and Ava. Actually, They are already been exposed to the public through singing their versions of some popular songs on different TV shows.
We already featured this girls here in POPSICLES.ph. Now, the girls are ready to unleash their debut single — Pretty Young Thing!

as for the song, it's kind of dry and broken up sounding sounding. not enough beat and accent layers. it's really flat.

The song has no melody whatsoever. It sounds like a less autotuned version of a Ke$ha song.
They look like Show band singers (those tightly clad 40 year olds who sing at bars) but honestly I’ve seen show band singers with better range than this.
Their voices have potential but honestly i wouldn’t watch out for them.

And besides, I think they should have done away with that ‘Pretty Young Thing’? Not that I do want to make a big thing about it, but that title is too much associated with Michael Jackson(He has a song in his Thriller album called PYT as in Pretty Young Thing).
We have too many Girl groups that are a la Pussycat Dolls and they proved to not really be a hit. Please come up with better groups. Turn to the 90′s girl groups…local 90′s girl groups like Vanna Vanna, Prettier than Pink.

The TRUTH is: 60% of or language isn’t Spanish.
The actual percentange is around 20 … and even then, most of those words are heavily pidginized.
Our language is unique to the Philippines, therefore Tagalog is originial to the Philippines. THEREFORE as Filipinos, we should not undermine its useage, and we should USE it.

The concept is too Pussycat Dolls. They look like strippers in a bar.
I have no problem with them doing a sexy concept, but this outfits and style make them seem and look cheap. Know what I’m saying?
I wished their song is in tagalog like the other groups. So it will sound more original.
I actually liked the other idol groups who sing in tagalog like XLR8 and Pop girls. Well, those are the only two groups I actually know.

Despite all my criticism of PYT, I will still support them as that is the only thing I could actually do to support the growth of the new Philippine POP. The pop in the Phils. might not be as perfect as pop from other countries, but I believe that soon, we will also get there. Let’s give change some time, and let’s not be highly critical. By putting P-pop down, it’s like you’re putting a baby down because it can’t walk yet. I’m saying that in the sense of idol groups, P-pop is still new, so pulling the rug right now is not appropriate. Let us give it some time to grow.
Guys, being open-minded and having patience is the key. You can’t expect P-pop to be excellent in its first try.
