Harrisah twins unveiled their new group
Last March, former Pop Girls member Mar and Lai Harissah revealed they both set to debut on a new girl group under another music company. Recently, the two girls unveiled the tentative name of their group: G4. Furthermore, rapper Vicc Madrigal and main vocalist Sharien Fructuoso of PoinTen, a korean-filipino girl group, were also part of the new p-pop group. On May 13, Pointen was last seen posing for kpop magazine Sparkling.
Mar and Lai also posted “once we start rehearsing & recording for our new album were going to have regular performances & shows with a certain group parang showdown so may shows na po kmi kahit di pa launched…(On our shows, we’ll perform a showdown with a certain group. We already have shows even though we haven’t debuted yet.)” They also added “p-pop & k-pop din po (We’re also a p-pop & k-pop group)” and “p-pop n posibly goin to korea too.”

why break up already formed groups to form new ones…can’t they stick to one group and promote them properly…they separated pointen to form this group and they only had like 3 singles out…what’s the point…this p-pop thing is actually messed up…i like some of the music released but sana organized naman ang pag-gagawa…opinion ko lang

I hate how the Philippines is STILL attempting this KPop fad…the Koreans may have been successful but it does not mean they will be too!

To Vicc and Sharien: Please stay with Pointen. You’ll do better with the group.
To Twins: Don’t break other groups just to have your own. Why don’t you just search for members through audition, etc.? They’re like millions of teen girls here in the Philippines. lol
But but but but, I find it shady, there’s something fishy.
1. Noticed in this article, only the twins commented on this G4 thing
2. All the photos on the G4 Facebook Fan Page seem like made by 10 year-old girls. lol
3. Check PoinTen’s Facebook Fan Page, It looks like they don’t know about this G4 thing.
lolwhut. This G4 thing reminded me of the previously announced “FAKE GIRL GROUP” [B-Star] made by some ‘ant-sized brain’ person.
That’s the only things I can say for now, I’ll be waiting for more updates.
If this G4 is true, I’ll listen to their music first, it it’s good, then I’ll support them. For now, I don’t like this.

All i can say is that i em a fan of Ponten, and such issue like this really bothers me, i hope they can comeback, and my suggestion is to add new member and not to disband, i would like to ask as well that all people should support our talents, the way Korean and Japanese supporting their own talents,note as well even we said Kpop or Jpop, Ppop it all same, it is all Pop genre we are all talking, as you know our song was highly appreciated by other nationalities, so i don’t worry that in case our talent go abroad it will be shameful, unless they are not been promoted well. In case of Pointen they should have a comeback album, same it goes to the Harrisah sister, if they didnot succeed they should not give up but try to formed new group with new talents. . . .I hope we can show to the music world that even we copy we did it in our own originality.

wala namang problem sa P-POP, i think it’s time na rin na hindi puro BALLAD and ROCK ang uso sa atin… uso ang K-POP and i appreciate it, pero not to the point na parang i-conquer nila ang MUSIC INDUSTRY natin, syempre gusto ko pa rin OPM songs and P-POP ang manguna… hindi lang kasi talaga maganda yung pagpro-promote sa mga GRUPO na to, sana tamang promotion, hindi naman kelangan na MADALIIN na sumikat sa buong ASIA, dahil K-POP pa rin ang nangunguna, tama na lang yung dito na muna sa PINAS, kung papalarin man, malay natin hindi lang sa ASIA ang kayang pabilibin ng PINOY, diba?
