XLR8′s I Love You Girl MV, finally released!
After months and months of anticipation, local pop group, XLR8, has finally released the MV of their second single I Love You Girl, from the same album as their previous single, You’re So Hot. I Love You Girl was impressively composed by XLR8′s very own MJ Magno, arranged by Marcus Davis and directed by Trev Monteros II, who also directed You’re So Hot.

The production of this music video beat YSH’s hands down, in this writers opinion (the quality of the Youtube video is a huge plus, I must say) The executed steps were much smoother, considering they had a lot more moving space versus the cramped space they had in their previous music video. I noticed, however, that they weren’t perfectly synched in some parts, fortunately, the last bit with the chairs made up for it. The “old” concept was certainly fitting to the soft, mellow tune of the song. (As I type, I can faintly hear an anti-fan crying, “They sooooo copied *insert popular Kpop group’s name here* black&white concept!!” Uhh, okay. ) Each of the member’s sleek, sophisticated look and aura, had me squinting my eyes in confusion as to, “who is this fiiiiiiiine boy?” To sum it all up, I liked it and I give it a thumbs up. I now look forward to hopefully praising their next MV.

finally a good quality video (resolution wise) =) as for the MV it definitely is an improvement from their last one, but they still need a lot of work; they’re not all in sync

i love the hd quality,,and they are improving..but i”m iffy with the hairstyles of some of them…and the dancing could improve but it is getting better..they are really improving..!!..i wish there was a female actress to go along witht the video…..

It’s better than their previous MV but It’s lacking the so called “pinoy-ness”. No matter how I look at it and listen to it, they really seem to be more of a Kpop boy group than a Ppop boy group -__-” If they really want to be successful, not just in our country, they should make something unique and original or something that can be called Pinoy style/ Ppop style that teens would love or at least be interested in. It’s really, as in SUPER obvious that they are copying Kpop that’s why they can’t be recognize as a Ppop boy-group but a Kpop copycat /sighs

nice music video substance, copied MV content though.
obviously the boys CAN dance, just not trained in the right way.
I saw a little (and I DO MEAN LITTLE) improvement on their execution of the steps.
Thing is, the members have the potential to do better than what’s seen on this MV.
Heck, I honestly, and seriously could do better choreography than the steps on the MV.
It probably comes down to one thing: their known “2 year training” is not enough. The time of their exposure to the public just came at the right moment when they were not ready enough.
Hope we could see better performances from the boys.
