Where is Andi?
Recently, rumors have been circulating that Andi Eigenmann of Agua Bendita, has been temporarily suspended from the show. For two weeks, grown up Agua Bendita has failed to appear on the show. People are speculating that the high ratings and positive reviews of the young Agua Bendita, Xyriel Anne Manabat, is the cause of this.
The 19 year old, whose previous stint was the 2007 afternoon soap Prinsesa ng Banyera, have recently expressed her frustration, regarding an unknown matter, in her tumblr. She writes, “Apparently, I think this dream of mine, will always stay as one. I guess my role in life is to simply be a viewer and a fan. I guess there’s no place for me in this industry after all. Sucks to be me. But, that’s life. No matter what, it has to go on.”
On February 18′s episode, Andi’s – as well as some of the cast – name was removed from the show’s opening credits.
In an article from Abante Tonite, “Nag-premiere ang nasabing fantaserye nu’ng Pebrero 8, pero ang dinig namin ay sa Abril 9 pa (o pagkatapos ng dalawang buwan) papasok sa show si Andi.” (The fantasy show premiered last February 8. From what we’ve heard, however, Andi will appear on April 9, two months after the premiere.)
As a viewer, do you agree with the management’s decision of sacrificing Andi for the sake of ratings? Or perhaps do you believe that this is all just a publicity stunt and we’ll be seeing Andi soon?
