SOP says Goodbye this Sunday, to be followed by Bandaoke!
Looks like GMA7 gave up the fight to regain SOP‘s rating to ABS-CBN‘s ASAP XV. It was just last year that they relaunch the show as “SOP FULLY CHARGED”, but with the disappointment on the show’s rating, GMA7 had came up with the decision of revamping the show and replace it with another show with the same format like SOP, that is rumored to be titled as “PARTY PILIPINAS”, that will be aired this March 21, 2010..
Ogie Alcasid (one of the show’s Main Host) confirmed through an interview with pep.ph that SOP will have it’s final airing this February 28, 2010.
“It took us six years before na mag-rate ng mataas. Ngayon, talo na kami.” Ogie said.
On the other hand, there are also rumors circulating at the blogging world, that Allan K and Jaya’s Bandaoke To Million will also be replace, because the show continued to disappoint with it’s low ratings.
What’s surprising is Jaya and Allan K, still doesn’t know that their sunday night show would be off air soon. (That’s pretty ridiculous, right?)
Dates on Bandaoke’s final episode and what show would replace it is still unknown, and yet to be confirm by the network.
Let’s hope for something better,as the saying goes by, “Change is the only permanent thing in this world, besides Love”.
