Mega Star Sharon Cuneta is the Newest “Millionaire”

Fresh from the success of her latest movie MMFF official entry “Mano Po 6″ and after winning the Best Actress trophy in the same Film Festival Sharon Cuneta never fails to amaze me. She doesn’t only have high caliber acting skills she also have brains!

Recently she won a P2 million grand prize in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” a TV5”s popular game show. Her victory in the show isn”t new because she also won P1 million in the same show in 2001.

Aside from winning two times in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” she also won P1 million in “Pilipinas Game KNB?” when it was still on primetime slot and was still hosted by Kris Aquino.

She opted to use one of her lifelines to call up Direk Joey Reyes and the question was answered correctly by him. The question was “What is the original name of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue?” Reyes answered it was Junio 19 after the birthday of national hero Jose Rizal.

The 2 Million question was answered by herself. She was asked “What particular ingredient used in the witch”s brew in William Shakespeare”s Macbeth” She answered correctly that it was “Lizard”s Leg”, making her as the latest Grand Prize winner of the game show.

Cuneta said she will donate the P2 million to the Hospicio de San Jose.
