“Sharon Cuneta” awarded as the Best Actress in 35th MMFF

In the 35th Metro ManilaFilm Festival awards night was held recently at SMX of Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Miss Sharon Cuneta was awarded as “Best Actress” for her movie “Mano Po 6: A Mother’s Love”, directed by Joel Lamangan and produced by Regal Entertainment.

Sharon Cuneta plays a Fil-Chinese matriarch named Melinda Uy whose desire is to be reunited with her rebellious daughter Stephanie (Heart Evangelista). The compelling family drama delves on rebuilding relationships and the bond formed within a Chinese clan. It espouses family values and the rich culture and tradition of the Chinese.
